Occupational hygiene is the study of the interface of people and their workplaces.  It involves the assessment of exposure to chemical, biological, physical, psychological and ergonomic stressors. Occupational Hygienists use science and engineering to prevent ill health caused by the work environment .Occupational hygienists help employers and employees to understand these risks and to minimize or eliminate them.
